Mrs. Norma Folz teaches 4th grade all day except for when her students attend special classes.  She has 23 students and teaches: science, math, social studies, religion, English, reading and language arts.  She likes to teach reading the most.  She came to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic school 25 years ago, when she felt God was calling to come here.  She has a masters degree in education and a bachelors of science degree in sociology.  When asked the question, “What do you think the skill level of your class is?”  She responded, “They are above average, every year.”  She likes the fact that she knows all the parents and that she can teach the Catholic faith. She plans on going to the pumpkin patch in October.  When asked what her favorite type of field trips were she said, “I love to go on outdoor field trips.”  Their classroom saint is the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the students must have the prayer memorized by the end of the year.  The prayer is the following:

Sacred Heart of Jesus today I wish to live in You,

In Your grace, in which I desire at all costs to

                                    preserve.

Keep me from sin and strengthen my will by

                                   helping me

Mrs. Folz is one of the most experienced teachers at Saints Peter and Paul.  Her grandsons attend Saints Peter and Paul Elementary.
